Pastor Beth Spitzner Neubauer Pastor Beth Spitzner Neubauer was installed as the senior pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran Church on Sunday, September 12, 2004. Pastor Beth received her Master of Divinity from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (PA) in 1976 and her Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family in 2005. She has served parishes in Frederick County and Montgomery County, Maryland as well as a chaplaincy at Gettysburg College. Pastor Beth also served the DC National Guard as a chaplain in the early 1990’s. Her husband, Randy, is a pastor, and they enjoy their four grown children and their first-born grandson. |

Pastor Mark Edwards Pastor Mark is a 1998 graduate of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He has been serving most recently at Grace Lutheran Church in Fort Washington, Maryland. Prior to attending seminary, he graduated from the US Naval Academy and served 15 years as a Naval Officer at sea and in staff billets ashore. He is married to a "preacher's kid," Tracey, and they have two children. Pastor Mark was installed March 26, 2006. |
