A Message from Pastor Beth...

W.H.O.W. - “What’s Happening On Wednesday?”

That’s a question we at Emmanuel hope to be asked often this summer. In addition to our Fellowship and Worship with Holy Communion on Sunday mornings
(Contemporary Praise at 9:00 am and Traditional Liturgy at 10:30 am), we’ll also “Connect” to share worship and fun on Wednesday evenings. Please refer to the schedule on this website to see each week’s plans…everything from a pet blessing to a healing service to a campfire sing-along to an appreciation night for our local firefighters and police officers! Whether you’re a newcomer to Fairfax County or a long time member of Emmanuel’s greater community, we’d like to spend some time connecting with you! Do come and join us!

Summer traditionally offers opportunities for recreation and re-creation. During these months, we also lift in prayer Emmanuel’s youth as they make mission trips to labor with the Pittsburgh Project, those members who will be teaching Vacation Bible School at the Village of Hope in Haiti, and the many kids here who will share the “Beach Party” and “Power Lab” Vacation Bible School experiences. What memories we will be making!

Wherever these months take you, remember to pause and thank God for summer! We entrust you to God’s care as you travel. And when you’re in the Vienna area, please join us. We’d love to WHOW you!

TUESDAYS THIS SUMMER - JOIN A BOOK STUDY of Kenneth C. Haugk's Christian Caregiving: A Way of Life. This book will challenge and equip you to care for others in a distinctly Christian way.
