Emmanuel Lutheran Preschool is a Christian preschool located in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church building on Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) on the Oakton side of Vienna. The director is Jenny Reinhart. School hours are from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Classes begin in September and end in May. School holidays follow the Fairfax County Public Schools schedule. There are classes for 2 ½, 3 and 4 year old children. Emmanuel Lutheran Preschool welcomes students from all racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. It is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The preschool is one of Vienna's oldest and most respected.  It was established in 1960 as a Christian outreach to the community. Over the years, we have created a Christian environment to meet the varied needs of our students.

We believe that every child is a unique child of God, made by him in love. Therefore, we strive to cultivate the individuality of each child and to encourage independence and creativity. We strive to meet the emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual needs of our students. At the same time, students learn to cooperate with one another and to respect and help others. We believe our program will enable our students to meet the challenges that will come with confidence and success.
